Outdoor Kitchens
Outdoor kitchens on a base built for the weight
A built-in kitchen or BBQ island is heavy and stays put, so it needs a slab or footing that won't move, and the gas and power planned in before the pour. We design and build both.
- Built-in outdoor kitchens and BBQ islands
- Concrete base or slab poured by our crew
- Gas and electrical runs planned in before the pour
- Built alongside patios, decks and pergolas
What's involved
Layout and appliance planning, the concrete base, the island frame and finish, counters, and coordination with your gas fitter and electrician. In Maple Ridge, gas and electrical work need their own permits, and we plan the conduit and sleeves into the slab so nothing gets cut in later.
Common questions
Can an outdoor kitchen go on my existing patio?+
Sometimes. A sound, reinforced slab can carry a light island. A heavy masonry kitchen usually needs its own thickened slab or footing, and we check what you have before deciding.
How it works
Four steps, and nothing is ordered or dug until you sign off.
Call or book a site visit
Call John, or tap Book now and send a photo of the spot with rough measurements if you have them.
Site walk
John comes out, walks the site, checks access, slope and drainage, and tells you which permits and inspections the job needs.
Plan and design
You get a clear plan, the design and a written scope and estimate. Finishes are chosen and the build date is locked in before anything is ordered or any ground is broken.
Build
Forms are set, inspected and poured. You get updates as we go and a clean site at the end.
